Codem Composites has developed a specialist composite apprentice scheme in conjunction with iMET.
iMET is a new advanced technical skills centre formed as a joint venture between Peterborough Regional College and Cambridge Regional College set up from an identified need to deliver advanced technical skills training in manufacturing, engineering and technology. They work to supplement existing further education and higher education institutes, working in partnership with local employers in the East Anglia area to develop and deliver specialist and tailored training packages.
The BTEC Level 3, is a 3 year Trailblazer Composites Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship comprises specialist composites knowledge and is the first in the industry.
Codem currently has 8 apprentices at various stages of their development.
